Gayla Robinson is a passionate singer/songwriter who recognizes the power and responsibility that comes with being an artist and performer. So it should come as no surprise that as an artist she is motivated by injustice, not just the injustice from social ills, but also the injustice people create for themselves by making poor choices. Seeing and understanding this dichotomy inspires Gayla to write songs about the unspoken; the undercurrents that people don't know how to articulate or opt to not express.

Gayla started writing songs in December 2004 and began performing her songs in Hampton Roads in 2007.  She is a regular performer at The Venue's "Thursday Night Open Mic" and was a featured artist at the First Annual Home Grown Music Festival in 2008.  Since her start in this area, Gayla's talent has gained her increased respect from the local music community, culminating in April 2009 when she was chosen as co-winner of the Sea-Level Singer/Songwriter's Emerging Artist Showcase.

Hope Askew hails from Hampton Roads, Virginia where she worships at Second Calvary Bapstist Church.  Her music ministry has a unique sound and the delivery of that ministry is an electric, fun and intensly poured out affair of her heart.  Whether listening to one of her CD's or watching her live on stage, you can clearly feel the freedom and joy she lives with.

Her debut album, Always Hope, was released in November 2004 on the Masterpiece Christian Record label.  The first single entitled, "Dont Want to Live Without You" was placed on the National Gospel Truth Magazine Top 20 List.  Hope went on to tape several TV shows including, WGN's Singsation in Chicago and the Bobby Jones Gospel Show.  She also made the cover of Gospel USA magazine as well as numerous other publications.

Hope's sophomore project, Life, Love & Music was produced by Ray Braswell Jr. and Jamal Lewis for Raymarkable Studios.  This project has been reviewed by many national and international magazines and is currently impacting airplay in the United States, Germany, London, Japan, Africa and the UK.

Her greatest work is a process in motion.  BREAKTHROUGH will debut on Hope's own label, Weksa Music!  Hope established the label in February 2009 with her husband - Alphonso Askew.  This new project promises to be her best yet as she continues to share stories and life's messages in songs laced with R&B, Neo-Soul and Jazz grooves.  Find out more about this amazing singer at www.myspace.com/hopeaskew

Saint Coretha Holland aka "Saint Coco" started playing music with the saxaphone in the 6th grade because her mother suggested she join the band.  Meanwhile, at home her father was teaching her to play the drums.  All throughout high school she played in the marching band and played the congos and bongos.  After graduating from high school, Saint Coco came to know God.  Playing the saxaphone for the glory of God helped her realize and improve her gift in music.   Today Saint Coco's unique style of gospel and inprovisational jazz touches the souls of people all over Hampton Roads.  She is available to play for occasions such as weddings, parties, banquets, church programs, for the sick and shut in, as well as funerals.

"I've heard quite a few great sax players in Hampton Roads - pure gospel, pure jazz and mixed genres.  I love gospel and love jazz music and this lady might not have the acclaim of  local or national music critics, but if God needed a sax player - I think He would call Saint Coco!"  - Nathan M. Richardson
